Description

The remote host is affected by the vulnerability described in GLSA-202405-30 (Rebar3: Command Injection)

 - Rebar3 versions 3.0.0-beta.3 to 3.13.2 are vulnerable to OS command injection via URL parameter of dependency specification. (CVE-2020-13802)

Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application's self-reported version number.

Solution

Gentoo has discontinued support for Rebar3 binary package. We recommend that users unmerge it:

 # emerge --ask --depclean dev-util/rebar-bin
