Linux/Unix ホストには、ベンダーが提供するパッチが利用できない脆弱性の影響を受ける複数のパッケージがインストールされています。

  - hfsplusデバイスの論理ブロックサイズを複数回クエリしません。デバイスのブロックサイズが変更される可能性があります。それらのケースの 1 つは、ioctl LOOP_SET_BLOCK_SIZE を使用するループデバイスです。これにより、IOが拒否されるなどの他の問題が発生する可能性がありますが、hfsplusの場合、hfsplus_read_wrapperがhfsplus_submit_bioを呼び出し、後者の関数が異なるio_sizeを読み取るとき、そのサイズを使用してブロックを割り当て、領域外を書き込む可能性があります。sb_min_blocksize に初期設定された新しい min_io_size を使用することは、HFSPLUS_SECTOR_SIZE と最初に確認された論理ブロックサイズの間の最大値に設定されるため、元の修正の目的で機能します。後者が初期化されない場合は、HFSPLUS_SECTOR_SIZE と min_io_size の間の最大値を引き続き使用します。
