Linux/Unix ホストには、ベンダーが提供するパッチが利用できない脆弱性の影響を受ける複数のパッケージがインストールされています。- 2.6.36.2 以前の Linux カーネルの kernel/exit.c の do_exit 関数が、KERNEL_DS get_fs 値を適切に処理しないため、ローカルユーザーが、意図された access_ok 制限をバイパスし、任意のカーネルメモリロケーションを上書きし、（1 ) バグ、(2) NULL ポインターデリファレンス、または (3) ページフォールト。これは、clear_child_tid 機能および splice システムコールに関連するベクトルによって実証されています。 （CVE-2010-4258）
