libxml2 のこの更新では、次のセキュリティの問題を修正します：- CVE-2016-2073、CVE-2015-8806、CVE-2016-1839：libxml2/dict.c でヒープバッファオーバーリードは修正されました [bsc#963963、bsc#965283、bsc#981114]。
- CVE-2016-4483：無効な形式の文字列をシリアル化する際に、領域外のアクセスを回避するためのコードが追加されました [bsc#978395]。
- CVE-2016-1762：xmlNextChar でヒープベースのバッファオーバーリードを修正しました [bsc#981040]。
- CVE-2016-1834：xmlStrncat でヒープバッファオーバーフローを修正しました [bsc#981041]。
- CVE-2016-1833：htmlCurrentChar でヒープベースのバッファオーバーリードを修正しました [bsc#981108]。
- CVE-2016-1835：xmlSAX2AttributeNs でヒープ use-after-free を修正しました [bsc#981109]。
- CVE-2016-1837：htmlParsePubidLiteral と htmlParseSystemiteral でヒープ use-after-free を修正しました [bsc#981111]。
- CVE-2016-1838：xmlParserPrintFileContextInternal でヒープベースのバッファオーバーリードを修正しました [bsc#981112]。
- CVE-2016-1840：xmlFAParsePosCharGroup でヒープバッファオーバーフローを修正しました [bsc#981115]。
- CVE-2016-4447：xmlParseName によるヒープベースのバッファアンダーリードを修正しました [bsc#981548]。
- CVE-2016-4448：書式文字列の脆弱性があり得るため、一部の書式文字列の警告を修正しました [bsc#981549]、
- CVE-2016-4449：エントリコンテンツの不適切なフェッチを修正しました [bsc#981550]。
- CVE-2016-3705：再帰カウンターを増やすように修正しました。
