この ghostscript-library 用の更新プログラムでは、次の問題が修正されています：- ghostscriptの「-dsafer」フラグによって、ファイルシステムへの意図しないアクセスに対して十分な保護が提供されない複数のセキュリティ脆弱性が発見されました。このため、特別に細工されたPostscriptファイルを処理するマシンで、機密情報が攻撃者に漏洩する可能性があります。（CVE-2013-5653、CVE-2016-7977、bsc#1001951）
- リモートコード実行を可能にするために使用される .initialize_dsc_parser 出の入力タイプの検証が不十分です。（CVE-2016-7979、 bsc#1001951）
- gs_heap_alloc_bytes関数での整数オーバーフローにより、特別に細工されたPostscriptファイルを介して、リモート攻撃者がサービス拒否（クラッシュ）を引き起こすことが可能になります。
